The structure of the Softline group, business application developer SL Soft, acquired a controlling stake in MD Audit, the technology company’s press service reported.

MD Audit develops systems for managing operational processes in retail chains. The company offers tools to monitor the quality of employees’ work and record work hours.
The company’s website says MD Audit was founded in 2015. It also said that in 2022 the company opened an office in Riyadh and entered into its first contract with a client from Saudi Arabia. In 2021, the company opened an office in New York, according to data from the MD Audit website.
The agreement is part of SL Soft’s plan to make a strategic acquisition to expand its retail portfolio, explains the press service. The acquired solutions will be implemented on a single platform.
According to Viktor Weinstein, CEO of SL Soft, the company sees potential in creating industrial solutions. The demand for automation of highly specialized business processes is increasing, so SL Soft begins to create industry-specific solution clusters. The first of these groups will be retail trade.
“We welcome the MD Audit team and hope that their experience in developing products for the retail industry will enable us to gain a strong foothold in this promising market,” Weinstein was quoted as saying by the press service.
At the beginning of the year, Softline acquired 100% of the payment terminal developer Inversum. And at the end of May the group announced its entry into the Middle East market.
