iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will receive a new fast charger, ITHome reports.
Wired charging power will increase from 27 to 40 W, and when using MagSafe, from 15 to 20 W.
The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are rumored to have larger batteries, so it’s unlikely that charging times will decrease. The increase in power is likely needed to reach the current 50% charge rate in 30 minutes.
If this rumor is true, there will be another technical difference between the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro.
