"Russia is losing its leading position in terms of mining, in a few months Russia's share of the total bitcoin network hashrate has dropped 2.5 times, and the bitcoin rate has dropped by 57% in 3 months," said Pavel Novikov, director of the Sk Fintech Hub.
The United States accounts for 37.8% of the global hashrate on the bitcoin network, China - 21.1%, Kazakhstan - 13.2%, Russia - 4.6%, the analysts cited data.
