Musk’s moves are part of a broader trend. He moved Tesla’s headquarters to Texas in 2021 after clashing with California officials during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this year, Musk filed to move SpaceX from Delaware to Texas after a legal dispute over his compensation package.
