You can pay for goods in one tap by scanning a QR code via the VkusVill mobile app. The developer was the VkusVill cash register and payment route software development team. The company clarified that “the current bank authorizes payment operations; no changes were required on their part to carry out the operations.”
The cash registers are integrated with the bank’s payment gateway to process electronic transactions. The new payment method is available in all the chain’s stores at cash registers with cashiers.
“The unique omnichannel payment service EshPay allows you to speed up the process of paying for purchases at the checkout by 5 times. Payment via the mobile application takes literally a couple of seconds, which allows reducing customer service time at the checkout by 20-25%,” the company said when commenting on the launch of the payment service.
VkusVill does not store personal data or payment details of buyers. EshPay provides for the use of single-use QR codes at the checkout for each payment.
