According to the analysis of the Central Bank of Russia, 97 percent of this amount was stolen from individuals’ accounts. The largest share of the thefts, about 2 billion rubles, was carried out through card transfers.
In addition, a significant part of the fund, 1.5 billion rubles, was stolen through the Fast Payment System (FPS), which is three times more than in the same period last year.
The average amount stolen through the SBP was 33.3 thousand rubles, and through remote banking channels it was 56.5 thousand rubles.
In general, the average amount stolen from one person reached 18.6 thousand rubles, reaching a maximum in the last year and a half.
