Russian Railways launched the first driverless train in Russia.

The new specialized Lastochka is already running on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC). There is a driver in the cabin, but he is only needed for control, as well as opening and closing the doors. The train moves independently.

The first passengers of the first flight of the driverless train met at one of the MCC studies. The train slowed down and stopped. After the passengers boarded, the driver closed the doors of the Lastochka, and the train itself set off.

With the help of neural networks, the transport automation system independently measures the situation, makes decisions and provides the necessary actions. [РИА Новости]
