An insider hinted that the performance of the Xiaomi chip will be equal to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Work is being carried out on a module that will support 5G in partnership with Chinese manufacturer Unisoc.
Additionally, according to Brar and other insiders, the Xiaomi chip will be produced using TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing technology.
The new Xiaomi smartphone could be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
