All iPhone 16 models include up to 45W of wired charging via USB-C, according to the China Quality Certification Center.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Pro are tested at 5-15 volts and 3 amps, respectively, and their power is 15-45 watts. This is 50% faster than the iPhone 15, which reached a maximum of 27-29 watts.
Apple hasn’t officially announced these figures, but that’s not surprising since the company doesn’t usually comment on changes to wired charging.
She only mentioned that the new MagSafe can deliver up to 25W when used with the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. [9to5Mac]
