At the moment, you can open an account without leaving home in Sevastopol, Simferopol and Yalta. To carry out this operation, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs only need to leave a request on the website or in the contact centre. After that, a bank specialist will call them back and they will agree on the time and place of the visit. The bank plans to expand the geography of field service on the peninsula.
There are no VTB offices in Crimea. In the summer, the bank started the integration of RNKB, which will be completed in 2025 with the transition of the credit institution to the VTB brand. This will expand the range of banking services and increase the volume of lending to businesses in Crimea and Sevastopol.
VTB is not the first bank to provide remote account opening services for businesses in Crimea. For example, the same service can be obtained at Alfa Bank, PSB, Kontur.bank, Sberbank, T-Bank, Tochka, Ozon Bank and others.
At the end of May, VTB started issuing mortgages in Crimea. The first loan approved by the bank amounted to 3.2 million rubles. The client received it for the purchase of an apartment under construction in Simferopol.
