The update will be available to those who use the services “Stencils”, “Rank to Top” or “Promotion in Search”. Currently, the card consists of several offers of similar products from other sellers. The innovation will allow the seller’s product to be recommended to buyers first.
“Ozon expects sellers to receive more traffic and attention from buyers, because competing products will be displayed at the bottom of the card. The average order bill is also expected to increase, as customers who need related products will first see offers from a store they already know,” the company said.
The widget with the seller’s store name, rating and logo will also be updated and become more visible. Even those who do not promote their products will receive this functionality. They will also add a widget with bonuses, discounts and promotions from the entrepreneur.
Ozon says that promotional and advertising tools are popular: half of sellers use them. Using these services, they receive an average of 8 times more orders and their turnover is 6 times higher than that of competitors who do not work with promotional tools.
In September, Ozon launched an insurance policy for transport companies fulfilling orders through the “Vozi Ozon” service. This is the first online liability policy on the market with coverage of up to 10 million rubles.
