Wildberries co-founder and CEO Tatyana Bakalchuk’s fortune has dropped from $7.9 billion to $4.1 billion after the marketplace merged with outdoor advertising operator Russ, US outlet Forbes reports.

According to the publication, Bakalchuk transferred 35% of the company’s shares, the value of which is estimated at about $3.4 billion. The businessman’s capital was also negatively affected by the weakening of the ruble exchange rate.
Despite the decline in her fortune, Tatyana Bakalchuk remains the richest woman in Russia. In August 2024, she topped the ranking of the 20 richest women in the Russian Federation for the third time.
- In June 2024, Wildberries announced a merger with outdoor advertising operator Russ. The companies then founded a joint venture, RVB LLC, where 65% is owned by Wildberries and 35% by the company Stinn, owner of Russ Outdoor.
