According to Okladnikova, AI simplifies tasks such as matching budget classification codes and the results linked to them, and also automates routine processes with more than 80% accuracy. In the future, this technology will help improve the efficiency and transparency of public financial management.

The first deputy chairman of the board of directors of Sberbank, Alexander Vedyakhin, noted at the Moscow Financial Forum that over time the artificial intelligence agent will become even more precise, which will allow many processes to be transferred to automatic processing, freeing people to perform more complex and meaningful tasks. tasks.

“Many stages of the budget process can be automated and some operations can be completely transferred to AI. It depends on the extent to which we can standardize procedures,” Okladnikova explained.

At the same time, the Ministry of Finance clarified that the use of AI is impossible in processes related to unique decisions of the president and the government or non-standard situations; here human control is mandatory.

In the long term, AI will be able to evaluate the impact of budget expenditures and government decisions on the well-being of citizens and the economy, Okladnikova is sure.
