The results were impressive; The processor significantly outperformed its competitors, including the recently released Dimensity 9400.
In the Geekbench 6 test, the chip scored 3,230 points in the single-core test and 10,617 points in the multi-core test, becoming the leader among flagship processors.
The performance increase compared to last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is particularly notable: the difference was 40% in the single-core test and 47% in the multi-core test.
Although both chips are manufactured using TSMC’s latest N3E process technology, the Snapdragon 8 Elite achieved 14% better results in single-core tests and 17% better in multi-core tests compared to the Dimensity 9400.
This success of Qualcomm is associated with the development of special Orion cores that provide significant performance gains.
