“Accurately following FBS orders is quite a difficult task. But since the beginning of 2024, we have received 2,664 orders for Wildberries worth 7.5 billion rubles. The three most popular cards are Chery cars,” Anabar said. Among the most popular cards are Chery 8 Tigo Pro Max for 3.68 million rubles, Chery 7 and Chery Tiggo 4, but as of October 29, there were no cars in stock.

On the Ozon market, analysts recorded 2,986 orders (as of January 22) for a total amount of 8.5 billion rubles. Best sellers include cards with Volkswagen Caddy cars for 3.7 million rubles, BMW X5 for 15.5 million rubles (the products were sold out on October 29) and OMODA S5 for 1.8 million rubles (the products were sold out).

According to the service, Wildberries has created an offer of 627 cars, 80% of Delivery Car LLC, the remaining 20% ​​is shared by Sputnik Auto LLC, Dialog A LLC, Karklik Trade JSC. The most popular brands are the Chinese Chery, Omoda, Jaecoo, Geely. Hyundai, Lada, Ford and Toyota are also represented at WB.

There are 1,660 products for sale on Ozon, “Delivery Car” also ranks first and Car Village ranks second.

“Anabar” clarified that the frequency of the “Cars” query on WB was 16.8 thousand impressions per month.

“The request may be made by experts in the eCom market. But there are clearly potential buyers here too. Maybe they will compare the prices with those in physical stores,” Anabar told RB.RU.

Buyers in the reviews note the ease of making transactions on online marketplaces and the lowest prices.

“In fact, they brought it home, I just signed the delivery certificate with the tow truck; the rest of the documents are signed remotely. Very convenient, very cost-effective,” wrote one shopper.

“It’s a great option for buying a car if you don’t need loans, trade-ins and dealer surcharges,” said another buyer. Customers note that the price of cars in the markets is lower than in dealerships. For example, OMODA cost one of them 180 thousand rubles cheaper than buying it in an offline store.

According to an Ozon representative, selling a car online is convenient for both dealers and buyers. Dealers gain access to Ozon’s huge customer audience and save on attracting new customers, while customers gain familiar convenience, a predictable final price for the car, and time savings.

Wildberries launched the sale of cars in April and a new category was opened on the market: “Vehicles”. The first cars available for purchase were Chery brand cars at the official “Delivery Car” dealership.
