Named leading digital security company in Russia

Ensuring security is one of the key tasks of communications providers in the face of increasing cases of fraud. According to a VTsIOM survey, as of February 2024, 67% of Russians had faced telephone and digital scams over the past six months to a year. The number of unwanted calls and SMS is growing: since the beginning of this year, Roskomnadzor has blocked 456 million fraudulent calls and 6.2 million “gray” SIM cards.

The J`son & Partners Consulting agency decided to identify the most reliable operators and conducted a comparative analysis of digital security services of 8 main market players: Yandex, SBER, VK, T-Bank, MTS, Beeline, Megafon, T2.

For the second year in a row, MTS received the highest score in terms of digital security content, functionality and diversity. It turned out that the operator offers the most complete service in the segment of anti-spam services – it has the largest number of functions. Then come Beeline, Megafon and Yandex.

It should be noted that over the past year, anti-fraud services have been actively developing in Russia. Market players are actively launching products to proactively combat phone scams and data leaks. For example, a voice warning about possible fraud during a telephone conversation and a user security rating (available in MTS), as well as a notification about a data leak (available in MTS, Sberbank, T2).
