Trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange was postponed due to an error in the trading and clearing system, the platform later added. The start time of trading on the stock exchange will be announced later.
This year, the Moscow Stock Exchange suspended trading on the stock market several times: on February 13 due to a hardware error on the main server and on February 14 due to a configuration error. Trading was suspended for the third time on August 14 due to a software error.
In October, the Moscow Exchange announced that it expected a new trading volume record by the end of 2024. “Four years before this, we updated trading volume records annually. Now we are going at a good pace, there is a good chance of updating the record for the fifth year,” said the organization’s IR director, Anton Terentyev.
