“T is for technology. This is the name we have given to the renewed group, which brings together a highly diversified ecosystem of companies that are leaders in their segments thanks to the introduction of innovations,” said T-Bank Director Stanislav Bliznyuk.

The bank noted that it was the first Russian company to receive a one-letter ticker symbol. The Telegram channel of the Moscow Stock Exchange reports that issuers of shares of the first level of listing can now choose unique combinations of one to three characters of Latin letters and numbers.

Shareholders also approved dividends worth 92.5 rubles per share. To receive payments, you must purchase securities by November 22. The company must make payments no later than December 28.

In October, the group’s board of directors proposed paying dividends of 92.5 rubles and changing the name to T-Technologies.

Tinkoff changed its name to T-Bank in June. The bank explained this by the desire to “move away from the once fashionable familiarity and replace it with something more concise and modern.” In addition, the bank plans to expand its business to international markets, and this requires a “universal and scalable name,” Bliznyuk noted.
