Total investments in the project amounted to 6.7 billion rubles, of which 5.2 billion were provided by the Federal Investment Fund in the form of concessional loans. With these funds, the company rebuilt the workshops and purchased 49 new pieces of equipment. After the launch of all equipment, the company plans to increase the production of traction motors for locomotives by 35% to 5.7 thousand units per year, as well as to produce up to 2.7 thousand engines per year for subway cars and electric trains.
The project not only increases production volumes but also provides employment for 481 people. According to TMH-Electrotech General Manager Adel Mustafin, the implementation of this production contributes to Russia’s technological dominance in the field of railway transportation.
