In another interface change, Google Photos has simplified the bottom bar to just three buttons. THE The dedicated tab called “Memories” has ceased to exist and has been merged with “Collections”.
THE change makes the bottom bar easier to usenow only with “Photos” buttons (overview of entire gallery); Collections (albums, folders, and other resources); and select Search.
In addition to merging the buttons, the name of “Memories” has also been changed, at least in English. In the foreign version, the episode is no longer called “Memories” (“Memories” in free translation) and is called “Anlar” (“Moments”).
With this change, “Memories” becomes a carousel of photos and videos selected by the algorithminstead of being the name of an entire tab.
Memories made simple
Although the episode has been repositioned, “Memories” remains the same. The space is dedicated to automatic organization of photos by dates, locations or people.
Apparently, the change is automatically deployed for all users. Since the update is part of server authorization, you don’t need to do anything to get it.
According to the 9to5Google site, which first announced the news, the change in the interface is available at: Starting with version 7.9 of Google Photos for iOS. Now, TecMundo Couldn’t catch the change in Android.
