Yandex explained the failure of Russian services on November 29 due to technical problems on the part of the Yandex Cloud cloud infrastructure. This was reported to RB.RU by the company’s press service.

“There are problems with network connectivity in one of the three availability zones of Yandex Cloud. The other two areas operate normally. The incident caused the degradation of services for some customers,” Yandex said.
They added that the technical team is already working to solve the incident. The company said it would later publish a detailed analysis of the situation.
On November 29, a massive failure occurred in the services of “Vkusno – and dot”, “Cooper”, Dodo Pizza, “Tsiana”, “Burger King”, “Magnit Market”, Lamoda and other companies.
Problems also arose with the Leonardo airline ticket reservation system, Aeroflot’s press service reported. Now “the service provider is taking measures to restore the system,” the airline clarified.
The fact that the failure of Russian services is related to the Yandex Cloud infrastructure was previously written by the Durov Code Telegram channel. The technical problems that arose were also confirmed by the Center for Monitoring and Management of the Public Communications Network, subordinate to Roskomnadzor, TASS reported.
