The greatest demand among legal entities and individual entrepreneurs is for office supplies, electronics, chemicals and household equipment. The November survey included salespeople from the top 5,000 partners.

According to the study, in B2B the greatest demand is for the following categories:

  • stationery, office supplies; electronics, gadgets (mobile phones, computers, etc.);
  • household chemicals;
  • large and small appliances;
  • furniture and interior items;
  • repair and construction products;
  • food;
  • automobile products;
  • cloth.

“72% of partners surveyed are willing to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase on behalf of their company on the Wildberries for Business platform.” At the same time, 41% already make B2B purchases on Wildberries as individuals,” the study says.

Wildberries partners mentioned the main requirements for a B2B marketplace: fast delivery, secure transaction processing and flexible payment system.

  • The Wildberries for Business platform launched in a limited trial format in October. The market allowed 50 thousand sellers to purchase products themselves on behalf of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. The test group will grow. Sellers sell products to companies using two models: “From the Wildberries warehouse” and “Marketplace” (selling from the seller’s warehouse). Goods purchased by companies will be delivered to the collection point. Connecting courier delivery to a B2B service is included in the company’s future development plans.

According to the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF), in Russia there is a growing trend among small businesses to work in the B2B segment. The IIDF study shows that in the current financial situation it is easier for these projects to survive, since the B2C market is actively “selected” by large players.
