On Gazprombank’s Telegram channel, customers with Android devices were recommended to download the application from alternative sources: the Russian RuStore store, from the official Gazprombank website or from the AppGallery store, which is available to smartphone owners Huawei.
If the app is already installed, it will continue to function normally, the lender said. Those who have difficulties downloading or updating were offered to use the mobile version of Internet banking through a browser.
The Gazprombank application is also not in the App Store. The program disappeared from the Apple store in 2022. Later, the Millioner consulting application appeared there, aimed at bank clients, the Banki.ru portal wrote. In April 2024, the credit institution again reported the unavailability of the service in the App Store.
Gazprombank was subject to US sanctions in mid-November. Along with it, the state corporation Dom.RF, Primsotsbank, BKS Bank and other companies were on the SDN list of the US Treasury. In total, restrictions were introduced against about 100 individuals and legal entities. Following the new sanctions, BCS Bank applications also disappeared from Google Play and the App Store.
