WhatsApp messenger is getting closer to getting a feature that shows the number of participants currently online in a group on the app. The news appeared on the website WABetaInfo.
According to the invention, the function Displays a counter showing the number of participants in a group that currently has WhatsApp open. However, it is not possible to know exactly which users are included in the count or to guarantee that these people are in the foreground of the group screen or talking to other people.
