Copying in the selected language is performed immediately while the video is downloaded. The author of the video can preview the audio track and delete it if the quality is poor. You can delete the audio track before and after publishing the video. The viewer can select the desired audio track in the player settings.
Videos can be translated into English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish (or vice versa). Russian language is not supported yet.
It is known that YouTube started testing the automatic video dubbing function in the summer of 2023. The translation is carried out by the AI model of the Aloud service developed in the Google Area 120 incubator.
