Many commercial drones use Wi-Fi for navigation and control. Ardronis monitors these signals to locate drones before they take off. It connects to the drone’s video feed, allowing operators to access the live feed. The system also reads important data such as location, speed and altitude.
Unlike systems that disable all drones in an area, Ardronis can target one drone while leaving others untouched. It can also neutralize the threat by interrupting the connection between the drone and its operator.
Ann Stephan, vice president of Rohde & Schwarz, called Ardronis a “game changer” in the field of drone detection and neutralization.
