Movistar Plus+ adds up to 6 new channels to compensate for AMC’s departure

Movistar is looking for a way to compensate its customers for the departure from 14 AMC channels, which was announced just a few days ago. The company announced that from now on Movistar Plus+ customers will be able to access four new channels from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC, English abbreviation). Two free sports channels with football and tennis have also been added.

The four BBC channels added to Movistar Plus+, of course, broadcast different content. These are BBC History, BBC Food, BBC Drama and BBC Top Gear; they are all freely accessible and available on different watch faces.

BBC History will be broadcast on 84, with a focus on history content and documentaries about the British Monarchy, World Heritage sites and more. BBC fooda cooking channel, documentaries, culinary programs and educational programs about food, will be broadcast on number 92.
