One of The Register readers shared an issue with the Canon ImageClass MF269dw scanner running on Windows 11 only if the computer and scanner are connected via wired Internet. The publication described the issue as “unstable”, with some users experiencing crashes and others not.
Canon confirmed the issue, citing compatibility issues with its driver. A company spokesperson said Microsoft is working on a fix expected in January 2025.
