Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple is planning a new HomePod-like smart hub with a 7-inch display in 2025.
The company is very comprehensive in launching this device because it becomes the first requirement to penetrate the smart home ecosystem. Gurman says the device will look like a “smaller, cheaper iPad” that will allow users to “control devices, FaceTime and perform other tasks.”
