According to him, now the Team Ministry, together with the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance, evaluates the volumes and structure of the loans, and also seeks a balance between the containment of inflation and the growth of the economy.

Reschetnikov recalled that, according to the results of 2024, the Russian economy showed growth rates of 4.1%. The head of the Ministry of the Economic Council estimated the potential of economic growth at 3% per year. The Central Bank previously estimated the country’s growth potential from 1.5 to 2.5% per year.

The Central Bank said that “the inflationary pressure remains high”, and the return of inflation to the 4% objectives would take longer than expected.
