“In 2025, we expect an additional increase in vegetable conservation prices within 5-7%. The main reasons will be the increase in raw material costs, packaging and production. In particular, an increase in the cost of “tetrapak” (packaging) is predicted by approximately 15%. It is also possible to increase inflation in the food sector to 9%, which will affect the cost of plant raw materials, including zucchini and other ingredients. In addition, the situation exacerbates monetary fluctuations and changes in international trade, ”said the manufacturer.
According to Morozov, in 2024 there was a significant increase in vegetable conservation prices, which was caused by an increase in demand and supplies to supplies.
“The average retail price has increased by 10-12% compared to the previous year, which corresponds to the total inflation dynamics. For “picints”, increase prices amounted to approximately 10%. This is due to cost growth, even due to the increase in the cost of packaging materials: the corrugated increased by 9%, Glassotar by 15-24%, ”added the manufacturer.
Currently, the Pikant focuses on the optimization of the processes, which will minimize the influence of external factors on the final cost of the products and develop the variety.
The Pikant (Vasya Product LLC) was founded in 1999 and belongs to Alexander Kolesnik and Sergey Sergeyev. Company’s revenues in 2023 increased by 10%, 5.4 billion rubles. The net gain became 7.3%higher, reaching 437.5 million rubles. The company produces more than 70 types of canned foods.
