According to Leaked Curious Citizen, Intel has delayed the launch of Arc desktop GPUs to the end of the second quarter, to the beginning of the third quarter. Earlier rumors indicated a release in May or early June. The reason for the delay is unknown, although we saw in a recent Geekbench result that video cards could use some optimization.

The leaker also shared some details about the models expected in Arc’s desktop lineup. The series would initially consist of four cards: A770, A750, A580 and A380. In terms of performance, the A770 should be comparable to Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti, but there is still uncertainty about the amount of memory. The A580 will likely have 8GB of memory. A higher-end Intel Arc 9 series may also be in the works. The information doesn’t quite match up with previous leaks that mentioned the A780 and A350 and not the A750.

Intel hasn’t released much about desktop Arcs. A company employee hinted in a recent Blender test video that the cards will be released this quarter. A teaser released two weeks ago stated “Intel Arc A-Series Limited Edition Graphics” as a delivery date this summer.
