MPs propose to foresee the possibility of alternative service without using AI in regulatory actions that are currently being developed and will regulate the use of artificial intelligence in Russia. In their opinion, not all citizens are ready to rely on algorithms in health or education issues that a mistake may have serious consequences.
The letter is also impossible to guarantee that AI technologies are actively introduced into different living spaces, but it is still impossible to guarantee their ambiguous work. According to VTSIom research, 38% of the Russians have not yet relied on these technologies, while 52% expressed confidence.
The authors of appeal emphasize that there are studies on the foundations of legislation in the field of AI in the State Duma. In the future, the law is planned to consider not only technological development, but also the concern of citizens, especially on issues where life and health risks are possible.
