The Japanese giant accuses trademark brands of violating trademarks, unscrupulous competition and false ads due to early demonstrations of Switch 2 models.
The case was opened in California. In addition to destroying all Genki products associated with Nintendo, Switch and Switch 2, it requires payment compensation for damage caused by a possible trio of the amount.
According to Nintendo, everything started in December 2024, and the Genki in X announced on accessories for Switch 2. In January, the company showed the 3D console 3D models in CES 2025 and said it could access the original device.
In addition, they used Nintendo logos and called directly their activities – an obvious reference to Nintendo Direct presentations.
Nintendo claims that Genki’s actions can mislead the public and make a wrong impression about the connection of companies. Human things have 30 days to answer accusations. Switch 2 is planned on June 5th.
