They showed that the new drug could be taken inside and at the same time protecting antiviral activity. This has become an important success, because previously lost productivity as such proteins entered the body.
The tests were performed on the cells of the airways and the epithelium of the eyes. As a result, it has been confirmed that the drug can neutralize the SARS-COV-2 virus and cause COVID-19. Scientists also stated that the oral form of the drug provides better accessibility of the active substance in the tissues.
To date, the drug has passed the pre -clinical test phase.
