When you take oleic acid, this “soldier” – increases the number of fat cells. Experts from Oklahoma, Yale and New York universities fed mice with various foods with high fat content as part of a new study. The rodents gave coconut oil, peanut oil, milk, pork oil and soybean oil. It has been found that high levels of oleic acid changes the activity of AKT2 and LXR proteins. This led to faster growth of pioneering cells that make up new fat cells.
However, the solution of this problem is not to completely abandon olive oil. According to Rudolph, the real thing is the moderate and consumption of fat from different sources. Relatively balanced oleic acid levels are useful and can damage higher health.
Previous studies were usually associated with olive oil, long -lasting, healthy aging, lower inflammation, obesity and risk of heart disease.
