LG is also working on a new generation of tandem RGB OLED panels designed for 27 -inch monitors with a resolution of 1440p and frequency up to 280 Hz. They will be brighter and more durable than previous models. Such a panel is expected to be sold in the summer of the first model – Gigabayt MO27Q28G – 2025.
Although ASUS mentioned brightness from 540 Hz and to 4,000 threads, LG has announced that the new panel will provide a maximum of 1,500 threatening in a small area of the screen.
Mass production of the high frequency panel (540/720 Hz) is planned in the second half of 2025. New items will compete with existing Samsung screens of 500 Hz frequency.
