The company has already built two businesses in Arizona: one produces 4 nm chips and the other is preparing for the production of 3-nm processors. According to reports, the first facility is already supplying products to companies such as Apple and Nvidia. The second object began to be built in July, and now the line of the third has emerged – under the name P3.
According to Taiwan’s sources, TSMC plans to choose a contractor for the new facility until the end of 2025. Thanks to the experience accumulated during the construction of the first two factories, the deadline dates can be reduced – up to a year, almost corresponds to the construction rate in Taiwan.
