Now the robot can only create black and white tattoos in the fields of body weapons and legs. In the future, it is planned to expand opportunities for other regions such as breasts and shoulders.
How does this work? The operator loads a tattoo drawing on the system and selects the size. Then the robot ink begins to apply, makes very small spots – less than the thickness of human hair. The camera and laser are checked by selecting how the ink is found on the skin and the best settings.
This method is less deep, more accurate and less painful than Master’s manual work, as the skin’s punching is less deep. Extra ink is immediately removed by using a special absorption.
For the robot, drawings are created by real artists who receive commission every time they choose their designs. All tattoos are stored in the cloud and can be used for any blackdot robot in any city.
The prototype is already used in a tattoo hall in New York. The company plans to rent robots to studios and is looking for investors.
