Cardiovascular diseases continue to be the main cause of mortality in the world. A stent on a shrinking ship prevents angioplasty, heart attacks and paralysis. However, the success of the procedure largely depends on the full understanding of the individual structure of the patient’s arteries.

The new 3D-Corvasculograph program recreates a three-dimensional model of the corn field arteries as before pathology. To create a model, it is enough to introduce the starting diameter of the ship – the neural network produces a full card with thousands of branches. The accuracy of the prediction of diameters reaches 97%, which reduces complication risks.

Development will also be used as a training tool for future doctors. Students will be able to examine anatomy on digital models, change the parameters and observe the effect of these changes on blood circulation. The project has already received support for the university and scientists are planning to expand the database by adding information about various pathologies.
