OnePlus confirmed the problem and said the patch would be global since October 2025. Before the update, users are recommended to minimize risks:

  • To organise Remove applications and unnecessary sources from reliable sources.

  • To go Automators instead of SMS.

  • To use Ambassadors by encryption instead of SMS for important correspondence.

  • Open Press notifications instead of SMS where possible places.

The problem affects the OnePlus 8T and 10 Pro 5G models, but other devices with the specified versions of Oxygenos may also be vulnerable. The security vulnerability recorded as CV-2025-10 184 appeared with Oxygenos 12. The older versions of Oxygenos 11 are safe.
