Moscow loses approximately 30 billion rubles every year due to delays in the delivery of construction projects. Laser scanning mobile robots help solve this problem. They work without even correcting small deviations. For example, in the construction of the Baltic Chemical Complex in the Leningrad region, such systems reduced the time of eliminating violations. The robot controls the object up to 2000 m² in 12 minutes by comparing 3D scans with digital models and comparing data to operators.
One of the examples of successful technology was given by Alexei Belous, General Manager of the Laba Laboratory Laboratory. In the facility, where the acceptance actions were already signed, the robot revealed the absence of one of the 220 columns. In the early stage, the correction of a mistake took two days instead of ten and cost six times more expensive.
AI also simplifies document management. Elena Romanova, President of the Artificial Intelligence Center project in the construction of GBU Mosstroyinform, said that automatically verification of documents to obtain building permits has reduced the deadline dates 5-10 times.
Another advantage of digitalization is to predict. Elena Zvonareva, the director of the Russian Federation Ministry of Construction, announced that foresight analytics help to avoid material disruptions, taking into account prices and changes in geopolitical risks. This optimizes delivery paths, prevents the deduction time and reduces errors during purchasing.
However, technologies remain only a tool. Experts emphasize that basic decisions on timing, technology and security are made by a person. Olga Kuzina, Head of the Department of Information Systems, Technologies and Automation in the construction of Nru MGSU, added that qualified engineers are necessary to work with AI.
