Microsoft has announced a major update to Windows 11 with a focus on artificial intelligence. The main changes concern the assistant co-pilot.

The main innovation is voice activation. You can now launch a co-pilot by simply saying “Hey, co-pilot.” The assistant will be able to execute the command without having to press buttons or open menus.

In addition, Microsoft is expanding the Copilot Vision feature. It analyzes screen criteria and answers questions related to what the user sees. This feature will now be available in all regions where Copilot operates.

For Windows Insiders, we’ve added support for text input for Vision so you can communicate with the assistant using more than just your voice.

The company is also conducting pilot tests Co-pilot actionswhich will allow the assistant to perform real actions on the desktop. For example, book tables in a browser or order food from any service. The Assistant will only be able to access those services to which the user has explicitly given permission.

There will also be Gaming Copilot for Xbox and PC, which will help gamers during the game, giving tips and tricks right into the process.

All updates will be available in the coming weeks around the world, they will change gradually. [Reuters]
