The expert recommended setting complex passwords for important applications and keeping the smartphone physically secure – not allowing outsiders to access it, not leaving it unattended in public places. Also, all important data should be stored on removable media that cannot be hacked remotely.

Kazantsev noted the importance of checking the security of a smartphone before purchasing it. According to him, the iPhone has features such as remotely destroying all data, remote blocking or location tracking in case the device is lost or stolen.

We must not forget that a smartphone can not only be hacked, but also stolen. To prevent an attacker from accessing information on the gadget, you must set a screen lock. Also, Kazantsev said that the files on the phone can be pre-encrypted so that they cannot be accessed if the phone is locked.
