Wave Swell Energy (Australia) engineers have developed the UniWave 200 offshore installation, which, by manipulating oncoming waves, includes the consumption of an air pressure drop, driving a turbine that generates electricity.

In fact, the Uniwave 200 is the replaceable electrosteel that the ballESSE got. It is designed in such a way that the oncoming waves “drive” water into a concrete chamber, where the pressure builds up, pushing air through the exhaust valve.

When the wave “rolls back”, the water goes, sinking into the capture of the vac, thanks to which the air is low. The turbine blades begin to rotate, and the generated energy is supplied to the network along the laid one.

Uniwave 200

The main feature of WSE technologies is one-way generation. In such “wave” cases, more serious bidirectional turbines are found, where it is necessary to adjust the pitch of the blades and reconfigure the air flow. Turbines of the UniWave 200 type are older and cheaper, and their surface location is longer.

The design feature of the UniWave 200 absorbs easy integration into defensive structures such as waves and dams, allowing for a combination of surface bonding and environmentally friendly energy integration.
