Once upon a time, our country independently produced almost all types of equipment, including household ones.
Much was in short supply due to technical or other reasons. Incorrect receipt of a planned economy, non-transparent priorities, a small number of specialized private enterprises. However, what was on the shelves was made entirely from possible components.
In the global economy, it is natural that such a scheme does not make sense, and production in Russia is not economically feasible. This is also why at the turn of the 21st century many of them were curtailed.
The first assembly foreign enterprises in Russia began to appear at the beginning of the 2000s, competing with the remaining enterprises. But both of them keep going today.

1. Stinol (Lipetsk)
A well-known manufacturer in the past of its own line of refrigeration and washing machines, initially passed into the hands of the Italian concern Merloni and switched to the production of Indesit and Hotpoint-Ariston equipment with a wide range of products.
Clusters have formed among older people that exist today. Although owned by household appliance pest Whirlpool since 2014, the line has not undergone major changes.
2. Ariston (Vsevolozhsk)

5. Beko (Kirzhach)
Famous Turkish brand factory over the past year not only not production, but also expanded the model line, remaining the most active body of budget equipment.
The manufacture of washing machines and refrigerators has been going on here for 16 years. A third of the production is exported to European countries, including Germany, Slovenia, Montenegro and Poland.
6. Bosch/Siemens (Strelnya/Engels)
Holding Bosch presented in Russia are immediately present by productions: a couple of them were created jointly with Siemens and is engaged in the production of large household appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines.
Another company opened with Buderus in Engels, Saratov region. Household wall-mounted boilers are made here. Both that, and another is actively shown on export and possesses high susceptibility. Apparently, the enterprise continues to operate, despite the original companies from Russia.
7. Haier (Kirov)
In 1974, the Vesta enterprise was opened as an international production of the Italian brand, now called Indesit. It was here that the only automatic washing machine “Vyatka” in the USSR was produced.
Nowadays, the production is bought out by an Italian group of companies Candiesand then became part of the Chinese manufacturer of household appliances Hayer. Brands of washing machines and air conditioners are produced here. The Chinese corporation also has a site in Naberezhnye Chelny, opened in 2016. Refrigerators are gone.
What kind Russian brands have production in Russia

What spare parts for household appliances are made in Russia?
Almost everything that does not concern the production of microchips. A huge number of components, cases, even wiring of electronic components are made “on the spot”.
