The first flagship coffee shop of the “new” Starbucks on Novy Arbat will open on August 18. The new owners have not yet revealed the name of the network, and a few days ago one of them filed trademark applications, one of which may be the name.
The opening of the first coffee shop of the “new” Starbucks on Novy Arbat in Moscow on August 18 was reported to Izvestiya by the company. The post does not provide any other details.
The possible new names of the Starbucks coffee chain were revealed on August 12, when Rospatent published applications for three trademarks filed by one of the company’s co-owners, Anton Pinsky.
At the end of July, one of the co-owners of the business, Timur Yunusov (musician Timati), promised that the new owners would not carry out a “monstrous” rebranding.
On July 15, the fact became known that Timur Yunusov, Anton Pinsky and Sindika will become the new owners of the Russian Starbucks business that left the country.
Starbucks announced its withdrawal from the Russian market in May.
