Elon Musk’s lawyers devise a new way to break the deal with Twitter

Bloomberg studied the documents presented by Elon Musk’s lawyers and reported on the billionaire’s new argument for rejecting the deal to buy Twitter.

Musk’s representatives refer to the statements of Pater Zatko, Twitter’s former head of security, who accused the social network of insufficient protection of user data.

Zatko, in particular, pointed to “obvious shortcomings” in Twitter’s work in protecting against hacker attacks, using outdated software, and hiding information about security rule violations from the social network’s leaders. .

All of these arguments can be used indirectly in court as an argument to break the deal between Elon Musk and Twitter, the agency notes.

The trial involving Peter Zatko is scheduled for October 17. More than 100 witnesses will participate in it.
