A MacRumors reader sent an email to Tim Cook and Craig Federighi complaining about annoying iOS 16 corners that are in the atmosphere when copying and pasting text. Cook and Federighi did not respond to the letter, but Apple senior manager Ron Huang did.

According to Huang, certain conditions shouldn’t be shown every time the user wants to paste text. This is a bug that has been fixed pending the iOS 16 update.

This is completely unexpected behavior and we will look into it.

He also added that during testing of iOS 16 inside Apple, the function worked differently.
