It became known that the next equipment of the next, already fourth, generation with the name “Legionnaire” will soon take place in the Russian army, which will replace the “Warrior” and the “Sotnik” still being developed and delayed in the troops.
As reported, Legionnaire equipment manifests itself in connection with the emergence of advanced technologies and special materials, as well as recent changes in the specifics of modern warfare. However, there are no detailed data on the Legionnaire, in terms of quite acceptable completeness, yet.
Recall that the equipment with the name “Warrior” (second generation) in the army units begins in 2020 and about 300 thousand of these sets of equipment have already been received. However, the “Warrior” will be replaced relatively soon by the “Sotnik” – equipment of the third generation, which is still on the quest for development, although some of its elements are already showing up.
